Why I do what I do
I am a Colorado front range native living in Berthoud. I grew up in Estes Park, started working in hotels and motels from a young age. I moved to Loveland, Colorado in the early 90’s. Started an apprenticeship in plumbing right after high school. Once I completed with my apprenticeship I jumped around from maintenance teams to construction and water wells. Then back to hotels and motels where I began leading and operating maintenance teams at much larger facilities such as hospitals, health clubs and apartment complexes. I noticed almost every facility had a swimming or lap pool and love working with them. I have more than 20 years of experience working and operating pools and spa’s.
I have always enjoyed fixing whatever may be broken or in need of repair, I just had a knack for it. I also enjoy hiking, kayaking or just being in the mountains. I love antique and thrift store shopping. Movies, books, and people. And I love my little town of Berthoud and its community.
